In The Pocket (ITP, as referred to by its members) is a Hudson Valley-based party band performing an exciting mix of rock, pop, and soul. Formed by musician twins Ben & Tony Basile, ITP was originally envisioned as a jazz and soul group, but quickly evolved into its more powerful incarnation featuring accomplished musicians from such groups as PErFect ThYroID, The BIG Shoe, Liana & the Michaels, the Jazz Pioneers, and more.

In The Pocket plays an ever-evolving variety of music from the 1960s to today - from the Temptations to Billy Joel, the Blues Brothers to Maroon 5, and too many others to list here. Where other bands come off as stale and routine, ITP comes alive with its youth, vitality...and full-time horn section. And since ITP carefully selects the music that it plays, you can be assured that every performance will be filled with energy and passion.

Whether it be a bar, club, wedding, private party, corporate event, birthday, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, baptism, first communion, graduation, retirement, divorce, funeral...well, you get the idea. You can get some other band, or you can get In The Pocket.
